Thomas J. Greenaway “T.J.”

Law Clerk / Director of PIP Litigation

Thomas Joseph Greenaway “T.J.” is D&H’s Director of PIP Litigation. As the Director of PIP Litigation, his main responsibility is ensuring that the firm’s clients are receiving the totality of PIP benefits owed to them from automobile insurance companies. Whether the insurance company has rejected, denied, or improperly paid a PIP claim, T.J. ensures that our firm aggressively pursues the past due benefits on behalf of the medical provider or individual client of the firm.

As the Director of PIP litigation, his duties also include acting as the liaison between the firm and our medical providers or individual PIP clients. In his capacity as a liaison, T.J. regularly meets with clients to ensure our firm is satisfying their individual needs. His responsibility to the client as a liaison includes delivering our opinions on specific PIP questions they may have and or lending a hand in procuring files that may be owed PIP benefits for our review. His main Goal as a liaison to our PIP clients is ensuring that their questions don’t go unanswered and their unpaid benefits are actively pursued.

T.J previously worked for multiple law firms in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota area that specialized in PIP Litigation. During his time as these firms, T.J. helped deliver millions of dollars in unpaid PIP benefits to providers and individual’s whose files he had an opportunity to work on. T.J. learned PIP Litigation under the guidance of a Board Certified Health Law Attorney. Learning under such an attorney gave him invaluable experience in the representation of medical providers in PIP claims but also other health law issues a provider might generally encounter. T.J has experience at all stages of PIP litigation from determining which files should be reviewed by an attorney for suit, the demand process, pretrial litigation, litigation and the settlement process. The experience and knowledge T.J. possesses in the representation of clients in PIP claims ensures that our firm delivers superior client satisfaction beyond the previous representation a client may have had.

Personally, T.J. was born in Cleveland, Ohio but moved to Florida at an early age. He was raised in the Sarasota area and thus considers himself a Floridian at heart and loves enjoying the great things Sarasota and the Gulf Coast has to offer. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in legal studies and is currently pursuing his Juris Doctorate. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his Labrador Retriever Hope.
